Otter family at Bosherston Lilly Ponds today, waiting for full moon?

  1. I'd like to visit Bosherston Lily Ponds to stand a chance of seeing the Otters. Unfortunately, I can't get there as early as some, so what are the chances of seeing them later in the morning or even the afternoon?

  2. I saw the same group today central lake at about 11.30pm, what do you think the marks are on the bitches face, looks like sores of some kind?

  3. Answering my own question, we saw a single Otter in the middle arm between 12.30pm and 3.00pm yesterday. Hunting in the weed beds, taking food back to the bank and then returning to the water to carry on hunting. Visible for pretty much all of the time we were there, though unfortunately no cloe up views. I've seen Otters in Sctoland and Ireland but this was the first one in Wales.
