Oh Lucky Mouse!

We have had a house-mouse invasion this autum/winter - we caught 17 and found 5 dead in the header tank! This was one of the last ones we caught - a large and canny beasty who had learnt to hold the trap door open with his backside while he snaffled a nut. We eventually tempted him right inside with a pecan at the very far end - then he was delivered a long way up the road to join his companions. We have now installed electronic/electro-magnetic gizmos to deter them - I think they are working.
