There was a very large caddis fly - body over an inch long - in my moth trap this morning. I think it is Phrygaenia grandis. Apparently it likes deep still water so it must be from one of the local potato ponds.(I get lots of other caddis flies in the
moth trap as we live next to a stream but I have not had this one before)
