Yesterday, I saw Atlantic grey seal cows gathering on the Deer Park coves in West Wales so it will not be long before the first pups are born. Really felt autumnal there with parasol mushrooms appearing. Late update - a visitor has reported a seal pup to the guys at Lockley Lodge.
The first seal pups have been born. 1 reported on Marloes Sands at the weekend - probably a not going to survive. Then on Pebbly Beach ( Deer Park) there is a very dark class 4 pup almost moulted which was still suckling from it's mother. I guess this one could be 3 weeks old
