This solitary juvenile is around quite often in the early evening. Our dog tries to make it play, but she is called off in case she gets too rough. Most years we find juveniles out in the daylight.I heard somewhere that badgers were not naturally nocturnal, but had learned to keep out of sight owing to human persecution.
They are shortly to have their BCG jabs in this area.
