Most exciting - one in the garden (near Mullock Bridge) over the last few days feeding on raspberry and tayberry flowers. I know their range is expanding fast but having got this far it is next stop Ireland!
Note that the picture was taken through the fruit cage netting which has quite small mesh but which the larger bumblebees can seem to navigate with ease. Rosemary

You ought to add it to the Bee Wasps & Ants Recording Scheme [BWARS] national Tree Bumblebee Mapping Scheme.

They ought to get to Ireland soon enough. They seem to want to move north and west, moving up through Scandinavia in recent years and arrived in Iceland in 2010.
