Caterpillar on Hemlock Water Dropwort
Several of these fairly distinctive caterpillars were found at Pembroke Upper Millpond at the weekend, feeding on Hemlock Water Dropwort. They belong to a micro-moth, Depressaria daucella, which has been recorded at scattered localities around the county, but mostly in the north. An easy one to recognise, so worth looking out for. Records to Paul Warren, please.
