Another fungus ID

This large fungus was growing in our garden on its own in a hedge next to a pasture field, with elm trees nearby. Cap diameter is about 12cm.  I thought at first it was a very ancient horse mushroom but I've never seen one with the cap edge curled up like this. And there's only one ! Any thoughts?
